Jewish SummerFest Returning August 23
DANBURY â Congregation Bânai Israel will host its fourth annual Jewish SummerFest Sunday, August 23. The event will run from noon to 6 pm at 193 Clapboard Ridge Road. Admission is free and open to the public and the festival will take place rain or shine.
The festival will feature kosher food, including falafel, bourekas, New York pickles, grilled hot dogs, chocolate chip cookies, Island Oasis drinks, and He-Brew beer.
Entertainment will include live Klezmer, Israeli, and Ladino music, Israeli folk dancing, and more.
Continuous childrenâs activities, including crafts, art, face painting, and storytelling, will bring smiles to the children.
A raffle for an iPod touch, a Rebecca American Girl doll, and iTunes gift cards will be available.
Many vendors with Judaica, jewelry, clothing, and other products will be selling their wares.
