Sallyport Global Holdings 10, Stonybrook Development 1 – Chris Tenney led the offense and pitched one strong inning for Stonybrook. Sean Burson and Austin Puleri pitched well, combining for six strikeouts. Sean Dardine had an outstanding defensive game.

Sallyport Global Holdings 8, Stonybrook Development 3 – Connor Pineua, Kyle Watts, and Sean Dardine all contributed to the offensive attack while Chris Tenney and Sean Burson collected two hits each to lead Stonybrook. Brandon Ziman, Connor Blanc, and Chris Tenney pitched well combining for eight strikeouts over four innings. Don Morrissey had an outstanding defensive game.

Stonybrook Development 10, Coldwell Banker 2 – Sean Burson went 3-for-4 with a double and four RBIs to lead Stonybrook to the win. Sean Dardine went 2-for-3 while Austin Puleri, Connor Blanc, Brandon Ziman and Robbie Daigle had key hits during the game.

Ferris Creamery 14, TR Paul 8 – Chris Erikson (3-for-4), Chris Devaney (2-for-3) and Patrick Milano (1-for-3, 3 runs scored) led Ferris at the plate while Sean Elliott pitched a scoreless inning and Seth Morris made a great running catch in left field. For TR Paul, Stephen Conway had two hits and Mike LoBosco had a hit and scored two runs. Ryan Daignault and Alex Arend pitched two scoreless innings between them.

Ferris Creamery 4, Base Technologies 3 – David Gerics homered and drove in three runs while Chris Devaney, Chris Erikson and Sean Elliott combined for three scoreless innings to lead Ferris. Gary Braun and Ben Stoller provided the offense for Base Tech and John Lebinski and Matt Spencer pitched two scoreless innings.

Mastercard 18, Ferris Creamery 15 – The bats were smoking in this high scoring contest. Tyler Gibney (2-for-3, 3 runs), Jon Hull (3 hits, 4 runs) and Alex Roche (2 hits, triple) led Mastercard at the plate. Matt Rahtelli and Mike Allwein closed the game with two scoreless innings. For Ferris, Reid Schmidt homered and doubled, Patrick Milano singled and doubled and Chris Devaney tripled, while David Gerics pitched two scoreless innings.

Mastercard 14, Demers Builders 14 – Reid Schmidt went 4-for-4 with a homer, triple and two singles, Robert Andreotta went 3-for-6 and scored two runs, Sean Elliott went 4-for-6 with four runs scored and Chad Ferris went 2-for-4 to lead Ferris. Dean Demers (4-for-4, 2 doubles), Nick Barreto (3-for-5) and Patrick Thornberg (3-for-5) led Demers at the plate,while Kaleb Rowe pitched a scoreless seventh to preserve the tie.

TR Paul 13, Lee Demers Builders 5 – JP Blanco went 3-for-3 with a towering home run over the left center field wall at Sandy Hook School field to lead TR Paul. It was the first “over the fence” home run hit by any 10 year old this season at Sandy Hook (although Blanco actually does not turn 10 until the end of July). Kyle Morrissey was 3-for-3 and pitched two solid innings to close out the game while Alek Arend also went 3-for-3 and drove in three runs. For Demers, Patrick Thornberg went 3-for-3 and drove in two runs as Kaleb Rowe singled and doubled. Brennan Merrick went 1-for-3 and scored once.

BASE Technologies 16, Aerco International 15 – John Lebinski belted a home run in the bottom of the seventh to lift BASE to the win. Matt Spencer and Gary Braun collected three hits apiece while Wyatt Depuy struck out the side in the top of the seventh. For Aerco, Colton Sposto singles and triple, Nicky Sajovic banged out two hits, and Eric Branecky hit the ball hard. Mike Newman made strong defensive plays at short.

Mobil Lube Express 11, Honeywell 3 – Rhett Ehnot went 3-for-3 and scored two runs and Colton Smith went 4-for-4 with two doubles to lead Mobil Lube. For Honeywell, Nick Cirone was 3-for-3 with a pair of RBI as Kathryn Kerins had a fine defensive game behind the dish.

Coldwell Banker 13, Honeywell 9 – Christopher Calo banged out three hits and drove in three runs to lead Coldwell Banker. Bobby Lydon and James Leuci also had three hits. Jake Lambert went 4-for-4. For Honeywell, Callahan Brock and Lane Kummer led the offense as Nick Roche was solid in the field.

Taunton Press 12, Greentree Toyota 3 – Robby Lasher singled twice and doubled twice and Eddie Lajoie banged out three hits and scored two runs to lead Taunton. Alec Bedini and Jordan Salvesen played well in the field. For Greentree, Michael Lally and Joey Carrino had two hits apiece and Jared Tenenbaum played well in the field.

BW Retail R.E. Group 13, Taunton Press 6 – Matt Wood and Nick Gosselin combined for five hits and four RBI to lead BW Retail. For Taunton, Austin Huffman and Matt Lindell banged out two hits apiece while David Kent and Tommy Rahr anchored the D.

Aerco International 5, Associated Refuse 3 – Eric Cascone roped a two-run double as Aerco rallied for the win. Anthony Sodoski played well in the field. For Associated, Constant Gregories doubled and Connor Lemany singled and displayed fine defensive prowess in the field.

Mobil Lube Express 15, Aerco International 5 – Jack Lago hit the ball hard while Patrick Olah and Matt Mitchell anchored the D to lead Mobil Lube to the win. For Aerco, Liam Decker played well in the field while Nicholas Carozza went 3-for-3 at the plate.

Fairfield County Irrigation 8, Greentree Toyota 6 – Virgil Procaccini went 4-for-4 and Christian Hoffman banged out three hits to lead FCI to the win. For Greentree, Tony Frangione collected three hits and Patrick Berger had two hits.

Apex Glass 13, Fairfield County Irrigation 11 – Will Dalton singled three times, doubled and drove in five runs as Apex grabbed the win. Chris Hartley and Harry Duffy had four hits each and combined for five RBI. For FCI, Ricky LaPak had four hits and played fine defense behind the dish. Alister Sore banged out three hits.

Coldwell Banker 11, Robert S. Ponsky DDS 3 – Kevin Ovendorf went 4-for-4 and Connor Roche drove in five runs to lead Coldwell. Joey Anastasi anchored the D. Ponsky was led at the plate by Brendan Grant.

DaSilva Law 10, Robert S. Ponsky DDS 3 – Calvin Witteveen and Andy Braun collected three hits and scored three runs to lead DaSilva. Will Swan and Kaj Djonne power the Ponsky offense while Wiley Zahansky made a great catch at short.

BW Retail Real Estate 17, Associated Refuse 11 – Chase Wurtz and Forest Speed collected four hits apiece, with Wurtz doubling three times and driving in six runs and Speed singling three times, doubling and scoring four runs, to lead BW Retail. Brianna Baranowski collected two hits and scored two runs. Michael Unschuld made a great defensive stab on the mound. For Association, Jim Parker went 4-for-4 with a pair of doubles as Michael Bincardi singled twice.

DaSilva Law 14, Apex Glass 3 – Kevin Linger doubled four times and Andy Braun doubled once to lead DaSilva to the win. For Apex, Jack Corbett and Victor Vasquez played well in the field.

Honeywell 13, BW Retail Real Estate 12 – Connor Miller’s stellar defensive performance stalled a BW Retail comeback attempt. Bobby Archiere led Honeywell by going 4-for-4 with a pair of doubles.

Honeywell 13, Apex Glass 4 – Danny Romeo and Jimmy Widman banged out three hits apiece and Eric Street had a superb day on defense to lead Honeywell.
