Boys 7th
New Milford 54, Newtown 53 â Josh Barrett scored 11 points and Kyle Wilcox added eight in a narrow loss to New Milford. The defense was led by David Lucia and Dominick Fedak.
Newtown 34, Redding 29 â Newtown kept the pressure on a quick Redding team to secure the win. Taylor Steimle scored 11 points and Trey Trudell added seven more. Dan Gallagher and Austin Bonadio anchored the D.

Attack 36, Fairfield 18 â Maddy Good, Clare Miles and Stephanie Roman led the offense while Brittany Tolla, Suzie Gissen and Julia Trudell controlled the game defensively.
New Canaan Tournament â The Attack took third place with victories over New Canaan and Ridgefield. There was stellar play on the offensive end by Erin Kenning, Bridget Power and Meaghan Harkins as Samantha Steimle and Tressa Scott were aggressive on defense the entire tournament.

Bethel 27, Newtown 19 â Mary Joe Rossi led Newtown with seven points in a loss to Bethel. Kerry Scallon added four points as Rebecca Grant, Jacklyn Daily, Danielle Shine and Jess Principi contributed two points each. Jenny Indelicato, Carley Ferris, Jamison Flether and Kristie VosWinkel all had very strong offensive and defensive plays.
Newtown 25, Brookfield 23 â Jess Principi, Jenny Indelicato, Jamison Fletcher and Rebecca Grant played a tough physical game as the locals topped Brookfield. Kerry Scallon canned 10 points while Mary Joe Rossi knocked in six. Carley Ferris and Kristie VosWinkel both had four points and Danielle Shine had a key two points.

Junior Boys
Regulators 44, Hornets 26 â Sam Kerr poured in 23 points as Regulators stung the Hornets. Scott Wexler had five rebounds as Ryan Dunnigan played well. For the Hornets, Ryan Powers popped in 10 points while Jake Enriquez, Kory Kling, Joe Pieretti and Nick Hamilton had strong games.
Gators 50, Wildcats 37 â Jack Kneisel canned 13 points and Cody Williams grabbed 15 rebounds to lead the Gators. For the âCats, Max Brazo poured in 18 points as Matt Vavrek, Tom Holly and Tommy Stewart had good floor games.
Gators 42, Hawkeyes 24 â Jack Kneisel and Kyle McCarthy scored nine points apiece while Cody Williams ripped down 17 rebounds and made three steals to power the Gators. For the âEyes, Lewis Thompson scored 10 points while Robert Mascher grabbed 10 boards and Francis Afriyie made five steals.
Thunder 41, Hawkeyes 29 â Will Arndt tossed in 10 points and Sean Ross grabbed 10 boards to lead the Thunder to the win. Doug Broadbeck dished off a pair of assists as Christian Sayegh and James Rebman had solid floor games. For the Hawkeyes, Bobby Mascher popped in 12 points as Mason West dished off five assists and Rob Uhde made seven steals.
Thrashers 32, Hurricanes 26 â Chris Tenney scored nine points, Sean Burson dished off six assists and Don Morrissey made five steals to pace the Hurricanes in a loss to the Thrashers.
Vipers 31, Huskies 21 â Mike Lord and Curtis Droniak combined for 13 points as the Huskies fell to the Vipers. Chris Haylon dished off three assists and Theo Hartlett grabbed six rebounds. Mac Morlock played well.
Eagles 30, Rockets 25 â Will Fletcher scored 10 points while Michael Zaccaro had five points and five assists to lead the Eagles to the win. Will Northrup grabbed nine rebounds as Dan Sclafani had four points and seven boards and Kyle Harmeling had three steals and five rebounds. For the Rockets, Kevin Dennis and Brian Reed tossed in seven points apiece. Mike Mossbarger had four assists as Matt Madden anchored the D.
Hawks 40, Hurricanes 26 â Austin Jones poured in 20 points to lead the Hawks to the win. Collin Norris, Trevor Carney and Patrick Sullivan (five rebounds) played well. For the âCanes, Luke Sherwood tossed in six points as Thomas Anderau dished off eight assists and Dillon Kelley made four steals.

Huskies 20, Knicks 18 â Kristy Papaj popped in 10 points and Kiersten Lynch grabbed five rebounds to lead the Huskies. Megan Logan grabbed four boards and Rachel Maquire had a strong offensive effort. For the Knicks, Jessica Gibbons scored seven points while Elyn Gordon had nine rebounds. Emily Maher dished off six assists and Lia Tassinari made five steals.
Gaels 17, Jaguars 10 â Julie LaPerch canned six points while Taylor Zingaro, Kelly OâConnell and Natalie Svanda played well. For the Jags, Melanie Rotante popped in six points and Valentina Pena dished off three assists. Emily Davis and Kristen DeGirolamo had solid performances.
Knicks 18, Liberty 16 â Jessica Gibbons and Emily Maher combined for 15 points to lead the Knicks. Lia Tassinari had five assists and five steals while Jill Moller dragged down six rebounds. For the Liberty, Cassie Ekstrom scored six points while Lindsey Jagoe (3 assists), Ryan Cassin (3 steals) and Oliva Sergiovanni (5 rebounds) played well.
Hawks 19, Vols 14 â Caitlin Yakush scored eight points and Maureen Mallory dished off four assists to lead the Hawks to the win. Sara Hasselburger and Kelly OâSullivan played well. For the Vols, Rachel Wiberg scored six points and Lindsay Jossick had seven steals.
Mercury 32, Hurricanes 14 â Alexa Powell scored 10 points as the Mercury burned the Hurricanes. Jane Sclafani and Faaria Ansari tossed in six points apiece while Courtney Escoda made three steals and Melissa Buccino dragged down six rebounds. For the âCanes, Kristiana Engler scored six points while Olivia Ingham, Bethany Dubois and Heather Leone had strong performances.

Raptors 38, Grizzlies 28 â Pat Riccardi canned nine points and JP Kitzmiller pulled down 13 rebounds to lead the Raptors. Justin DeVellis dished off five assists and Charlie Helgren played well on D. For the Grizzlies, Christian Mather scored eight points while Alex Roche, Andrew Volkers and Nick Madden (8 rebounds) had good games.
Blue Devils 55, Regulators 36 â Sean Elliott poured in 18 points as the Blue Devils soared to the win. Dean Demers played well. For the Regulators, Brandon Cooper canned nine points and Wyatt Depuy added six more. Andrew Martinez made six steals and Justin Cherry grabbed seven boards.
Blue Devils 42, Gunners 28 â Sean Elliott scored 18 points and Chris Erikson dished off seven assists to lead the Devils. Tim Eames and Chris Devaney had good floor games. For the Gunners, Jake Feinstein and Matt Rahtelli scored six points apiece and Michael Daubert dished off five assists while grabbing five boards. Justin Germak had three steals.
Tar Heels 45, Nighthawks 31 â Pat Mullins popped in 10 points to power the Tar Hells. Jack Champagne, Phillip Reynolds and Evan Swain had nice performances. For the âHawks, Michael Scharfenberg poured in 16 points as Dan Poeltl dished off four assists.
Knicks 38, Huskies 30 â Joe Davis canned 11 points to lead the Knicks to the win. For the Huskies, Brandon Marks popped in 15 points as Devin DiNicola and Max Lopez played well.
Gunners 31, Tar Heels 14 â Eric Fiore and Matt Rahtelli combined for 21 points to power the Gunners to the win. Jake Feinstein dished off four assists and made three steals. For the Heels, Jack Champagne had a solid floor game.

Notre Dame 30, Nighthawks 20 â Matt White popped in 12 points and Logan Puleri added eight more to lead Notre Dame to the win. Eric Pisani and Ryan Pisani played well. For the âHawks, Spencer Brindley popped in nine points as Jon Schwartz, Tim Kelly and Tommy Catalina (5 rebounds) played well.
Huskies 29, Runnin Rebels 24 â Chris Carroll poured in 13 points and Jim Leidlein pulled down 12 rebounds to lead the Huskies to the win. Ty Runkle dished off four assists and Mike Dinielli played well on D. For the Rebels, Brendan Paterson had eight points as Jack Lago, Austin Rafferty and Dom Scarangella had nice floor games.
Knicks 31, Celtics 21 â Tom Gleason, Dan Cummings, Isaac Farrington and Justin Weiner played well to lead the Knicks to the win. For the Celtics, Mitchell Stewart had five points as Patrick Rowley, Kyle Gordon and Ryan Rosenberger had strong performances.
Mavericks 23, Cavaliers 20 â Robert Linden popped in 13 points to lead the Mavs to the win. Jordan Sock and Adam Harrison played well. For the Cavs, Garrison Buzzanca scored eight points as Nick Norberg, Matt Lindell and Nick Marcinek played well.

Red Rockets 10, Strikers 8 â Brianna Baranowski scored six points as the Rockets slipped by the Strikers. Ashley Marks, Samantha Kruzshak and Sierra Mather played well. For the Strikers, Lafave Taylor, Tonya Tucker and Jenna Hansen had fine floor games.
Mustangs 12, Lightning 10 â Sarah Lynch popped in eight points and Katherine Kerins grabbed six rebounds to lead the Mustangs. Kyle Gallagher played well. For the Lightning, Shaina Errico scored four points and Amelia Muraton had a big block. Elizabeth Townsend drained a long jumper from the corner.
Midget Girls
Yellow Peeps versus Huskies â Marghret Elkins, Kate Reilly, Julia Scarangella and Meghan Doyle led the Peeps as Maddie Bridges, Haley Ryan, Jordan Svanda and Alana OâDonnell powered the Huskies.
Purple Penguins versus No Names â Meghan Goyda, Juliana Patell, Sarah Durr and Emma Sheridan played well for the Penguins as Colleen McCarthy, Abby Kohler, Claire Boyle and Emily Montoyo powered the No Names.
Eagles versus Red Panthers â Victoria Kkroha, Jessica Maturo, Courtney Demeglio and Mallory Lobuglio paced the Eagles as Emily Neave, Jillian Gibney, Bridget Walsh and Lucy Helgren played well for the Panthers.
Blue Swish versus Tigers â Katie Mossberger, Alana Murray, Sydney Flint and Marina Renzi played well for the Swish while the Tigers were paced by Erin Tressler, Maya Delity, Rachel Williams and Lauren Wilcox.
