Newtown Pools 13, JP Maguire 12: Newtown Pools rallied for three runs in the last inning for the win. Heather Leone, Mary Joe Rossi and Faaria Ansari all driving in runs in the win. Anna Guaragno made her pitching debut with a solid performance. Nicole Chaloux and Brianna Bach played well in the field. For JP Maguire, Savannah Burdette lead the offense with three hits and made an outstanding catch in the outfield. Kaitlin Gibney had a strong performance in her pitching debut.
Newtown Pools 8, Villa Restaurant 6: Lillia Hutchison pitched a strong first two innings, retiring six of the first eight batters. Lauren McMahon, Emily Paloian, Callie Furphy, and Cherokee Belval played well in the field. Offensively, Mallory Ames delivered the go-ahead RBI for the victory. For Villa Restaurant, Alena Ruscoe pitched three solid innings. Offensively, Julia LeBlanc, Shaina Stamp and Casey French swung the bats well. Shaina Evanko, Rebecca Vodola and Hope McMorran all contributed to the defensive effort for the Villa.

Newtown General Store 5, My Place 1: Claire Hull knocked in two runs, Sarah Spillane played good defense behind the plate, and Gillian Eckwall finished off the fourth inning rally with a RBI single for Newtown General Store. In defeat, Lauren Wilcox pitching two strong innings, Alicia Vega hit well and Emma Davola was solid in the field.
Newtown General Store 1, Taunton Press 1: Shane Mullins pitched two scoreless innings, Emma Hungaski drove in the tying run and Sarah Bender took away a crucial would-be hit at second base for Taunton. Liz Townsend pitched two scoreless innings, Kathryn Kerins doubled and scored a run and Hannah Makris made a nice catch on a foul ball for Newtown General Store.
Comfortable Living Floors 2, Creative Mailing 2: Mikayla Kuligowski pitched well, Kaylie Daniels played well at first base and Katie Mossberger went 3-for-3 at the plate. Hannah Hripak caught for Creative Mailing Services. For Comfortable Living Floors, Emily Woznick and Sophia Chiravelli hit well and Caroline Tanner played well in the field. Molly Begg, Bridget Duero and Emily Woznick combined for a great pitching effort.

Richâs Keys & Locks 22, Pattiâs Pantry of Southbury 15: Mary Beth Meier hit for the cycle, including a triple in the second inning and a homerun in her last at bat. Colleen Durkin and Megan Duero had 3 hits each and Meier and Katie Fossum had four hits each. Erin Begg pitched two scoreless innings early in the game and closed out a Southbury rally in the last inning. Dianna Carozza also pitched well, and Katie Salaris and Sarah Kowats were stellar defensively for Richâs Keys & Locks.
