To the Editor:

Attention all Newtown High School juniors and seniors! Would you like to win a TV, a DVD player, or maybe even a car? Would you like to hang out with your friends all night long? Do you like DJs and live music? Do you like to play pinball, Foosball, ping pong, or basketball? Would you just like to chill and watch a movie? Do you like to eat? If you answered Yes to any of these questions, then come on down to Mardi Gras, the post-prom party that is happening at NHS on the evening of May 19 until 5 am on May 20.

 Parents, please encourage your juniors and seniors to attend the 2nd Annual Post-Prom Party as an alternative to house parties. Please support the efforts of the PTSA by volunteering your time, money, or services. Let’s show our kids that we care about their safety!

 We appreciate the support of the many local businesses that have already contributed door prizes, money, food, and services towards making that night a safe and memorable one for all. Thank you!
