NEF Evening Of Comedy Rescheduled
The Newtown Education Foundation (NEF) Evening of Comedy, originally slated for January 19, has been postponed to Friday, March 1, due to the weather.
Doors will open at 7:30 pm for general seating at the annual Evening of Comedy fundraiser at Edmond Town Hall, and the show starts at 8:30 pm. VIP tickets are also being sold, which include a preshow VIP party beginning at 6:30 pm in the Alexandria Room at Edmond Town Hall. VIP tickets include premier seating for the show and dinner prepared by Sal e Pepe Restaurant of Newtown with wine, beer, and soda included.
According to NEF President Allyson Story, tickets are still available for the event. Tickets can be purchased on NEF’s website, newtowneducationfoundation.org. Tickets already purchased for the January 19 event will be honored at the door on March 1, according to Ms Story.
Alexandra McHale will be featured at the Evening of Comedy. Ms McHale has been on The Tonight Show with Jay Leno, HBO’s Comic Festival, and at other comedy venues. General admission tickets are $45, and VIP tickets are $70.
“I’m glad we were able to keep the event exactly the same, with just a new date,” Ms Story said on January 22.
