HEART-O-THE-MART TO KICK OFF BRIMFIELD SEASON OPENS MAY 14

BRIMFIELD, MASS. — Heart-O-The-Mart will open Wednesday, May 14, at 9 am during the first of three Brimfield weeks.

“My Best Show Ever,” “It’s like old times!” and “Our sales were exceptional, especially high end items!” were comments made by antiques dealers last year. “These quotes from exhibitors at our May ’07 show were typical,” said Pam Moriarty, Heart-O-The-Mart promoter.

“We were blessed with good weather, the crowds were very strong, the buyers were definitely here, and most exhibitors boasted of very strong sale; 2007 was a very good year for the Heart-O-The-Mart, and we expect a repeat performance in 2008,” she said.

More than 1,000 exhibitors will open May 14. The day’s schedule includes New England Motel Antique Market opening at 6 am with 400 exhibitors, many under tents and three pavilions; Heart-O-The-Mart is next at 9 am with 500 exhibitors, followed by Hertan’s Shaded Grove’s opening by the famous ringing of the bell at noon.
