My Place Pizza 19, Air Tech 6 – Hillary Smith and Katie Midlik pitched well and Christine Beck sparked the defense to lead My Place to the win. Kaitlin Marsden had two hits and scored three runs. For Air Tech, Kristen Brassard pitched a nice game while Emily Krewson came up with some stellar defensive plays. Heather McGill played well behind the dish.

Burton Builders 8, Brookfield Dental 6 – Natalie Dunn belted a two-run triple and added two singles to lead Burton to the win. Shelley Davies added a double and scored a run as Colleen Cunningham and Taylor Johnson combined for a valiant pitching effort, striking out a total of ten hitters. For Brookfield Dental, Ally Modzelewski pitched four strong innings and recorded six strikeouts. Nicole Elias clubbed a run-scoring double. Rachel Ruiz was solid behind the plate as Sara Smith and Nicole Escoda contributed with solid defensive efforts.

Burton Builders 9, Newtown Drug Center 4 – Caitlin Cocivi and Jenn Callery each hit a double and scored a run to spark Burton to the win. Shortstop Megan Rockwell and catcher Kelly Burton led the D. For Drug Center, Jessica Lynch made two excellent plays at short stop and Brittany Clark pitched well.

LRM Landscaping 6, Ricci’s Salon 5 – Tracy Dunn pitched three shutout innings, whiffing three batters to lead LRM to the win. Courtney Amaral scored a pair of runs and drove in a run as Ashley Perry and Gabby Mason combined for three this and two RBI. For Ricci’s, Hannah DeFlumeri and Marissa Chappell banged out two hits each.  Lindsay McCoy pitched well as Marissa Saravis anchored the defense.

Newtown Phonebook 13, Karen’s Fitness 5 – Katie Adams and Kristen Errico pitched well while Jackie Kissack and Emily Dutt provided the timely hitting to lead the Phonebook. For Karen’s, Samantha Moore and Michelle Margait were both sharp in their pitching debuts. Sheena Finlayson had two RBI and Meriah Tani led the defense.

Creative Mailing Services 14, Drug Center 4 – Ashley Kuligowski (three RBI) and Kate Bowen each ripped triples to lead Creative Mailing Services over the Drug Center. Bowen (eight strikeouts), Amanda Nealy and Paige Woodhouse pitched well. Nealy also collected two hits. For Drug Center, Stephanie Sanchez pitched well and fanned five batters. Taylor Demirjion and Brittany Clarke ripped hits.

U10

Keno Graphics 10, Advantage Loan 6 – Ali Kennedy tripled and doubled as Daniella Genovese and KellyAnn McCarthy each had solid hits to lead Keno to the win. Erin Begg struck out nine batters. For Advantage, Natalie Dieckman, Mary Hamula and Sarah Ainley all played well as Taylor Brady turned a double play in the fourth inning with the bases loaded to spark the D.

People’s Bank 5, Rich’s Keys & Locks 5 – Alena Ruscoe and Karly Oliveira played well for People’s as Nicole Rotante pitched well in her first outing and Zoe Eggleston played well defensively at shortstop. For Rich’s, Abbey Doski and Angela Ross both played well.

Keno Graphics 13, Dr Curtis Beck 6 – Tara Dawley had a hit and Marian Blawie scored two runs to lead Keno. Erin Begg, Maggie Kennedy and Courtney Escoda combined on the winning pitching effort. For Dr Beck, Emma Herring hit the ball hard and pitched well.

Newtown Hardware 11, George’s Pizza 6 – Stephanie Roman had three hits and drove in two runs to lead Newtown Hardware. Melissa Janco, Kara Clement and Elie Mounchantat also hit the ball hard. For George’s, Monica Macchiarulo had a pair of hits, Amanda Rowan had a big two-run double and Alexandra Buttery also hit hard. Caitlin Dowling made a nice catch in the field.

Newtown Hardware 10, Villa Restaurant 7 – Morgan Hopper had a pair of hits, two RBI and pitched well to lead Hardware to the win. Erin Kenning, Lydia Post and Stephanie Roman collected hits. For the Villa, Meaghan Davis had a bases loaded single and pitched well. Katelyn Dandrea hit hard and scored two runs.

George’s Pizza 15, Executive Power Equipment 1 – Amanda Rowan pitched two outstanding innings and helped lead George’s Pizza to the win. Alex Bultery, Monica Macchiarulo and Natalie Galante hit the ball hard. For Executive, Kelley Brassard and Julia LeBlanc led the offense as Melissa Brisco and Erica Knapp pitched well.

Ferris Mulch versus Creative Mailing – Miranda Erikson, Emily Campbell and Carley Ferris  played well for Ferris Mulch as Bridget Duero, Vanessa Feldman and Emily Woznick sparked Creative Mailing.
