Lucille F. Colucci, 97, of Newtown died March 23. She was born in Stamford, to Louisa and Leonard Colucci.

Ms Colucci, a longtime resident of Stamford, trained as a hairdresser and worked in her father's beauty salon/barber shop in Stamford for many years. She also worked at Stamford Hospital and West Hill High School in Stamford.

A sister, Elinor Cole, and her husband Rusty, of Fayetteville, N.C., and numerous nieces, nephews, and great-nieces and great-nephews survive Ms Colucci. Her parents; her sisters Helen Colucci, Beatrice Forte and her husband Fred, and Marion Grimaldi; a brother, Michael Colucci; and a great-nephew predeceased her.

She was a generous and loving aunt and sister to her family and will be greatly missed by all who knew her.
