Women Involved in Newtown continued one of its longest held traditions last week, filling dozens of Easter baskets for children and young adults.

Members of the local organization gathered on Monday, April 7, at The Children’s Adventure Center, where they spent a few hours organizing the contents and then creating 135 baskets to be distributed through the Adventure Center, Newtown Human Services, and Newtown Community Center.

WIN President Cindy Utter said the baskets would be distributed by April 17, so that everyone would have a basket waiting for them the morning of Easter Sunday.
