Family: My wife Danielle; our daughter Lucy, 5; and our son Ryan, 4.

How did you meet your wife? We met through mutual friends.

Pets? We have a 7-year-old Lab named Winnie.

How long have you lived in Newtown? In total 28 years. My parents moved here in 1992, and then I had break when I lived in Danbury for a few years, and then in Monroe for a few years. My wife and I bought our house here in 2016.

What do you do for work? I am a compliance team lead for M&T Bank.

Are you a member of any clubs, organizations and/or communities of faith? I like to volunteer, and the company I work for gives me lots of hours to do that. Over the past couple of years, during the holidays, I’ve volunteered at FAITH Food Pantry. That’s always fun. I also love volunteering at my daughter’s school. I’m hoping one day to become a Burgess within the Borough.

What do you like to do with your free time? Anything with my family. We love going for walks. Also, going to the beach, swimming, and gardening.

Do you have a favorite travel destination? Right now with the kids it’s Disney World. That’s the big one right now. If it’s without the kids though, Bora Bora was amazing. I would love to go back there some day.

If you could spend the day with one person, living or deceased, who would you choose and why? I would choose my grandfather. He died when I was 11 and I would just love to spend some time with him now as an adult, and play a round of golf with him. He was big into golf.

Favorite TV show? “On Patrol Live.”

What was the most recent movie you saw in the theater? Moana II, with the kids of course. (laughs)

What is your favorite thing about Newtown? There’s a bunch of things, and it’s so family-friendly oriented. Even though it’s larger in population, it still has a small town feel. The history, the flagpole, Main Street, the Labor Day Parade and Halloween on Main Street — there’s a lot.

What did you want to be when you grew up? I wanted to do something with cars, maybe work on them.

Is there something you’d like to see The Newtown Bee cover, or cover further? I definitely like seeing the old pictures of the town. I would love to see more in-depth of that — seeing more of the history and how we were. Like “Way We Were,” but expanded.

Do you have a personal credo? Treat others how you want to be treated, and ultimately just be kind.
