Newtown Stage Company recently hosted a master class with Jennifer Geller, a professional dancer and actress who is currently performing on Broadway in the smash hit Hamilton.

The February 18 session was held at The Academy of Dance Arts CT in Brookfield and was attended by approximately 25 participants.

Geller had her national tour debut 11 years ago, playing Nautical in Bring It On: The Musical. The production toured the US and then Tokyo.

Since then, she has performed Off Broadway in Gigantic playing the role of Aspen, and in numerous regional theaters across the country, in the most recent workshop of Reefer Madness in New York City. She also appears in the final season of Curb Your Enthusiasm.

She is a certified personal trainer with the National Academy of Sports Medicine.

The participants in her recent class noted they found the time with Geller to be “Incredibly informative,” “Very exciting,” and “Challenging but heart pounding fun!”
