Inaugural Fairfield Hills Music Festival Coming In May
Organizers encourage readers to mark their calendars now for an unforgettable day of live music, community spirit, and good vibes.
On Saturday, May 17, the inaugural Fairfield Hills Music Festival will take over the scenic Homestead Field at the Fairfield Hills campus in Newtown from noon until 10 pm. The festival will feature an eclectic lineup of mid-range artists from across New England, making it a must-attend event for music lovers in the area.
Headlining the festival are some crowd favorites, including the funk-infused sounds of Deep Banana Blackout, the theatrical folk-rock stylings of Slambovian Circus of Dreams, the soulful energy of Adam Ezra, the electrifying blues rock of Jake Kulak and The Modern Vandals, the progressive, and alternative blend of rock from Mile Marker Zero, and the contemporary bluegrass style from Max Wareham and the National Bluegrass Team. With such a diverse lineup, organizers hope there will be something for everyone to enjoy.
The Fairfield Hills Music Festival is about more than music. It will also be about giving back. The event is proudly hosted by Kevin’s Community Center (KCC), a local nonprofit organization focused on community health in the Newtown area.
For over 20 years, KCC has worked tirelessly to support public health in the community. All proceeds from the festival will go directly to supporting this vital mission.
In addition to ten hours of music, festival goers can also look forward to food trucks, local breweries and vineyards, and family-friendly activities, making it a perfect way to spend a spring day while supporting a cause that makes a difference.
The Fairfield Hills Music Festival promises to be a celebration of community, music, and generosity. Tickets are available now, so gather your friends, bring a blanket, and join the fun on May 17th at Fairfield Hills in Newtown.
