A Silver Alert issued on December 23 for a Newtown resident was resolved last week.

Connecticut State Police had issued the alert for Newtown resident Katherine Sullivan, 59, who had reportedly been missing since December 22.

A woman identifying herself as Sullivan visited Newtown Police Department and the office of The Newtown Bee on December 26, saying she was fine. An official notice saying the alert was “resolved” was received from CSP a short time later.
