To The Editor:

I am writing to endorse Mitch Bolinsky for re-election for state representative. Throughout his tenure, Mitch has been a tireless advocate for education, safety, and community well-being.

As the mother of a child with special needs, I am impressed with what Mitch has done at the state level that helps students not only in Newtown but throughout the state. He co-introduced a bill that provides children with Autism Spectrum Disorder services and helps them transition from school to post-school as there was previously a gap that existed between high school and becoming an adult.

He also helped establish the State Office of Dyslexia and Reading Disabilities which provides early detection and evidence-based teaching and learning interventions.

My first-hand experience with Mitch is that he truly cares about our students, our town and goes the extra mile to help those with special needs. Join me in voting to re-elect Mitch Bolinsky for State Representative.
