Upon arrival first responders determined Philip J. Semon, 58, of Winsted, lost control of the 1997 Ford Ranger he was operating. The Ford veered right and then struck the left shoulder metal beam guide rail before rolling over in the slow speed lane, according to the CSP report. Semon, an adult female and a female child were all transported to local hospitals for suspected minor injuries, also according to the report. Semon was found at fault for the collision, which damaged approximately 50 feet of metal guide rail in addition to heavy damage to the vehicle. Enforcement action was still pending as of October 14. —Bee Photo, Hicks
