NHS National Honor Society Members Inducted

Newtown High School Assistant Principal Jaime Rivera welcomed students and parents to the school’s auditorium on Thursday, October 28, for the World Language Honor Societies Induction Ceremonies.

Also present for the evening event were Principal Charles Dumais, Assistant Principal Scott Clayton, Assistant Principal Jason Hiruo, National Honor Society Co-Advisors Tom Brant and Cathy Ostar, and Superintendent of Schools Janet Robinson.

“Students we are so proud of your accomplishments,” Dr Robinson told the students, and later added what the students accomplish adds to the high school.

The event was followed by a reception in the school’s lobby.

The following are the students inducted into the World Language Honor Societies, the 2010 Honor Society Inductees, and the current National Honor Society members at NHS.
