To The Editor:

I speak from personal knowledge of Tony Hwang the man and Tony Hwang our state senator. I have known him for 20 years and we need him to be re-elected to the State Senate from the 28th District. He is listed on both the Republican and Independent lines.

There is a reason why Tony has served five terms as Newtown’s state senator: He is closely aligned with the beliefs and values of voters in our district. The proof is on his website: tonyhwang.org. Go there and click on “Focus.” Read it. It proves what I write is true.

Tony is willing to take the risk of a non-partisan position even though it may cost him party line votes, because it is the right thing to do for his constituents.

Tony knows the district like the back of his hand. He knows the voters. His opponent does not.

What else can I say? If you want to vote for your own self-interest you should vote for Tony Hwang. And take advantage of early voting.
