To the Editor:

I’m voting for Michelle Ku for state representative in the 106th District because I want someone in that job who is responsive to ALL the people of Newtown, someone with a track record of dedicated public service and someone who will actually work with and influence the Democratic majority in Hartford for Newtown’s benefit.

I’ve met Michelle a number of times. She’s accessible, thoughtful and informed. Her many years of experience on the Board of Education, the Legislative Council and now the Board of Selectmen, and as a leader and volunteer in the community, have equipped her to be the sort of state representative Newtown has not had in a while — one who is involved, responsible and responsive. Michelle Ku will get results for our community in Hartford.

I’m proud to vote for her and I think she’ll do a great job.
