It is my pleasure to endorse Mitch Bolinsky for re-election to the Connecticut State Legislative District 106 from Newtown. As a long-time resident of Newtown, I have taken note of Mitch’s contributions to Newtown over the previous 12 years. He has affordability at top of mind, never raising taxes, imposing tolls, or relinquishing control of Newtown’s zoning laws and public education. As a six-term incumbent, Mitch has risen to become Assistant House Republican Leader, the Ranking Member of the Aging Committee, and member of the Appropriations and Human Services Committee, and serves on the Budget Subcommittee.

Mitch Bolinsky has proven that he can work across the aisle to sponsor and co-sponsor important legislation to Newtown residents. Mitch has succeeded in helping our seniors, public servants, educators, and the disabled by fighting for them in Hartford. He has secured funding for Newtown schools, sewers, infrastructure, and Fairfield Hills. Mitch truly represents us with honesty, integrity, and dedication to making Newtown a better place to live.

Mitch Bolinsky does not seek the limelight, like other politicians do. As an incumbent, Mitch is not on a power trip to climb over others for power. He has the people of Newtown in mind as he dedicates his public service for the greater good. Common sense, intelligence, and integrity are hard to come by today in politics. Newtown is lucky to have the opportunity to re-elect such a candidate this November to the Connecticut State 106th District. It is my please to encourage Newtown voters to re-elect Mitch Bolinsky to a 7th term as our state representative.
