Edward Cavanaugh Doherty, 74, died on Monday, September 23.

He was preceded by his parents, Jack and Anna (Griffin) Doherty; and his brother, David.

He is survived by his wife, Yan Sun; his sisters, Pat (Doherty) Hubbs and husband David; and Maureen (Doherty) Will; and niece Katherine Will.

The family wishes to acknowledge the care given to Ed by The Ian Anderson House (Ontario) care team, which allowed his family to stay with him and pass in peace with love.

The interment will be private.
