Re-Elect Mitch Bolinsky
To the Editor:
I am writing in support of the re-election of Mitch Bolinsky, the Republican candidate for the 106th District State Representative. Through my personal experience and observations, I have come to know Mitch as a man of esteemed character who embodies a deeply held commitment to his community. Speaking for itself is Mitch’s stellar voting record of never voting for tax increases — reflective of his fight against Taxation Without Representation. Working tirelessly here at home, Mitch is always accessible; his ever-present warmth visible throughout town while he engages in critical conversations, hearing the needs and concerns of both sides. In Hartford, Mitch has proven himself as a true diplomat, reaching across the aisle in an even-handed approach to identifying issues and finding solutions.
With unwavering determination and true grit, Mitch continues to tackle the big issues that affect most of us, every day, and that’s Affordability. In the face of run-away utility bills and job losses, we are unceasingly gouged every time we shop for needed groceries, fill up at the gas station, or seek housing. Seemingly, the opposition, who frequently touts inclusivity for all, fails to see that Newtown is fast becoming another enclave of economic exclusivity. Is this what we really want for Newtown?
This season, when every vote counts, re-elect Mitch Bolinsky, a fine and dedicated gentleman who has consistently demonstrated unity and experience in marshaling the needs of all voters through common-sense and affordable policies that work.

Newtown
An election day of reckoning is coming for Mitch and Tony. Their biggest failure has been to allow the electric companies in the state to make CT one of the highest cost states in the country. Milk going up by $1 is one thing but having our electric bills go up by almost 100% and hundreds of dollars every single month is another.
Thanks Joanne- I support Mitch’s re-election too. I think he’s done a great job representing Newtown over the years. Newtown29 – Mitch and the rest of the minority Republican party in the CT legislature worked hard to fight these stealth taxes before you got your first shocking bill AND afterwards- the democrats have consistently ignored or worked around those efforts. Sending more democrats to the CT legislature in place of Mitch and Tony will look like pouring gasoline on a kitchen grease fire – Connecticut will only become more unaffordable with that kind of governance.
