To the Editor:

I am proud to endorse Mitch Bolinsky as Newtown’s State Representative in Hartford.

Mitch has the experience that Newtown has been the beneficiary of with his knowledge, and know-how to get things done.

Many Newtown folks call Mitch on a daily basis inquiring how to get help with a variety of issues of importance to their families, such as advocating on senior aging matters and helped pass a huge bill for aging in place so seniors can stay in their homes with assistance instead of going to a nursing home. Mitch always looks for grants that will help his Newtown constituents such as $3.5 million for air quality in our schools, another for EverWonder children’s museum. There are many more grants Mitch has brought back to Newtown. Mitch is a public servant, not a politician, and that makes quite a difference when people of Newtown are asking for help. Mitch is always approachable and available to help.

Mitch has been a force with getting help with our disastrous storm a few weeks ago.

We need the best leadership and experience in Hartford that has bipartisan admiration for his tireless work for Newtown
