To the Editor:

I had the pleasure of stopping in to a relatively new shop located in Newtown called Little Emporium. Sarah, the owner, was nothing but an absolute pleasure to speak with and she was so welcoming to me and my family (which included a very curious 4-year-old and a baby in a bulky stroller). My husband and I spoke with Sarah for some time about opening a store in Newtown (her home of over 15 years), which included its perks and challenges. Little Emporium is a beautiful vintage home and decor shop with a number of unique hand-picked items from near and far. I am so excited to have a shop like this in town, especially by a local, and I hope Sarah experiences great success! I encourage our fellow Newtowners (and those outside of town lines!) to visit Little Emporium, you won’t be disappointed. Plus, if you get the pleasure of speaking with Sarah you will see firsthand the passion and enthusiasm she has for her shop and this town.
