To the Editor:

I recently had the pleasure of having Michelle Embree Ku and Rob Blanchard visit my home while they were going door-to-door. It was refreshing to spend a few minutes with our candidates for State Representative and State Senator. No topic was out of bounds and both were happy to engage on a multitude of topics, including what is going on nationally.

Both of them pledged to make every effort to come up with sensible solutions to the rising cost of healthcare, growing our economy, keeping our state business friendly, and ensuring we improve our infrastructure. Each of them has demonstrated a commitment to public service and will clearly continue to serve our community with practical, thoughtful leadership. Speaking with them drove home the fact that we are overdue for change in both the house and senate and I look forward to voting for both of them in November.

In closing I would suggest that if you get the chance to speak with either one of them I would strongly recommend you leap at the opportunity!
