Isn’t History Important?

To the Editor:
My family has been in this town for 25 years. We moved here for the quaint “small town” feel. In the years we have been here we’ve seen exponential growth so much to the point it makes it almost impossible to get around town at times turning a quick trip into a time consuming journey. Now above all else there are citizens who have no problem erasing this country’s history (there are some who might say the Revolutionary war was quite significant for our country!). All for the benefit of one person. Why? Is our history not important?

Nothing was erassed. The Road you mention has been preserved and open to the public.
