Mark M. Passero, Sr
Mark M. Passero, Sr, 86, of Sandy Hook, passed away Friday, May 3.
He was the husband of Jean (Talarico) Passero.
Mark was born in Stamford in 1937, a son of Gladys (Hall) Henry and Edward Passero Sr.
Upon graduation from Stamford High School, Mark joined the Air Force, where he proudly served from 1956-1960 as an aircraft mechanic. After his discharge he drove for Valerie trucking for thirty years.
Mark loved all things military and history-related, was a voracious reader, and loved to travel. He loved spending time with all of his grandchildren as well as his beloved dog Foxy.
Mark was predeceased by his parents, his brothers Eddie and Gary, and his step-son Hugh.
In addition to his wife of 26 years, survivors include his brother, Bill; his daughter, Scheri; his son, Mark, Jr; his stepchildren Wes, Marci, and Meg; and his seven adoring grandchildren: Zachary, Joey, Kyle, Sophie, Evy, Faelinn and Deaglan, in addition to several nieces and nephews.
Mark’s family would like to acknowledge the attentive care that was provided for him at Candlewood Valley Rehab and express gratitude to the dedicated staff.
