Michelle P. (Rell) Crissey of Bethlehem passed away peacefully in the early morning hours of October 26, 2023, with her loving family members beside her.

She was born January 11, 1961, in Derby, to Conrad and Marilyn Rell of Newtown.

Michelle was a longtime resident of Newtown, attending school through high school.

She was employed at Siemens Medical Diagnostics in Brookfield, until she could no longer work while battling lung cancer for the last nine years. Michelle’s motto always was with a smile: “ Tomorrow is a new day and new beginning!”

Michelle is survived by a daughter, Kerianne Cordio of Florida; her father Conrad Rell of Georgia; a brother, John Rell of North Carolina; sisters Marilyn Gudsnuk (Daniel) of Bethlehem and Jacqueline Britto (Bryan) of Southbury; grandchildren Alex and Kyle Sallisky, and Anthony and Brooklyn Higgins; sister-in-law Valerie Rell of Sheridan N.Y.; and many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Michelle was predeceased by her son Arthur Cordio, her mother Marilyn (Rell) Robinson, and brothers Conrad Rell and Thomas Rell.

A graveside service is scheduled for April 24, 2024, at 10 am, at Riverside Cemetery, Route 110 in Shelton. A Celebration of Life after the service will be at The Stone Barn at Whitney Farms, 175 Shelton Road in Monroe.
