Love Mom XOXO, the foundation formed following the death in December 2020 of Newtown resident Lynn Nespoli Lewis, to assist children and their families who have suffered the devastating loss of a parent or co-parent, is planning its inaugural “In Loving Memory” Golf Tournament.

The tournament is scheduled for Friday, May 17, at Oxford Greens. Shotgun start will be at 1:30 pm.

Love Mom XOXO Founder Lori Nespoli said the event was purposely planned to fall between Mother’s Day and Father’s Day.

Registration is open for players and sponsorships are still available.

Cost is $175 for a single player, $325 for a pair, $475 for a threesome, and $600 for a foursome.

Tournament fees include 18 holes of golf, cart use, lunch and dinner, a raffle ticket, use of the driving range and putting green, and a $5 credit to the pro shop.

Contests and games will be available throughout the course including Longest Drive, Closest to the Pin, Putter or Purse, and more. A cash bar will be available during the entire tournament.

Dinner Only tickets are also available for $50.

Flagstick Memorials are also an option for players who would like to honor a mother or father who died with a child/children under the age of 20.
