Angelina Louise Vaiuso, 82, of Newtown, passed away on February 2, 2024.

Angie was born November 21, 1941, in Stamford. She was the daughter of the late Angelo and Domenica (Caputo) Cotellessa of Stamford. Angie was the wife of Dominic Paul Vaiuso.

Angie loved her family, especially her grandchildren. She will also be remembered for her love of her cats, cooking, soap operas, Snoopy, swimming in her pool, and league bowling.

She was predeceased by her brother Nick Cotellessa, Sr of Norwalk; her sister Mary Terico of Stamford; her sister Josephine Parte of Hawthorne, N.Y.; and her sister Rose Springer of Stamford.

Angie is survived by her husband of 62 years Dominic of Newtown; her sister Anna Valentine of Wilton; her son Kenneth Vaiuso (Desiree) of Sandy Hook; her daughter Karen Williams (Gary) of Middlebury; four granddaughters, Melissa Vaiuso, Shaina Evanko, Victoria Williams and Jeaneia Vaiuso; and two grandsons, Tyler Williams and Josh Vaiuso.

Family and friends will be received on Friday, February 9, from 4:30 to 7:30 pm at Honan Funeral Home, 58 Main Street in Newtown.
