It is with great sadness that we share the news that Thomas “Tom/Tommy” Candido passed away on November 6, 2023, at the age of 63.

He was under the amazing care of The Center for Comfort Care & Healing Regional Hospice in Danbury.

Born in New Haven to parents Nicholas and Rebecca Candido, Tom grew up in East Haven and later moved to Newtown with his family. He graduated from East Haven High School, University of New Haven (BS/MBA), and Fairfield University (MSCS).

Tom worked at Yale New Haven Health System as a dedicated team member of the Joint Data Analytics Team (JDAT) managed by his friend Anthony Fasulo. He was a loving husband, father, and friend.

Everyone knew him for his awesome sense of humor and shenanigans. He loved anything Elvis, visiting NYC with his family at Christmas, movie marathons and coming up with crazy ways to make his family and friends laugh.

Tom will be greatly missed by his wife and soulmate Sue (Brink) Candido of 36 years, his partner-in-crime daughter Jessica “Jess,” his brother Nick and wife Debbie and their children Nicole and Becky, his sister Domna, his brother-in-law/sister-in-law Joe and Maggie Brink and their children Madison, Ryan, and Abigail, his brother-in-law/sister-in-law Adolph and Linda Brink and their son A.J. and lastly his three mini poodles Buddy, Stella, and Toby.
