To the Editor:

I am writing in support of Brian Leonardi, who I have served on the Planning and Zoning Commission with for the past two years as alternate commissioner. I have found him to be an amazing asset to the commission. We were often faced with complicated applications that were controversial, and Brian made sure we took into consideration the effect on the Plan of Conservation of Development, the impact the development would have on the community, and the zoning regulations, all of which are the responsibility of the commission. Brian always shows impressive leadership skills and asks pertinent questions, and intently listens to the applicant and to the community to ensure the right decisions are made based on the three factors the commissioners must take into consideration. As an attorney, his skills and input in updating our current zoning regulations have been invaluable. Brian has been an inspiration to me personally for my commitment to and understanding of the position. We are lucky to have him as a commissioner, and I support him wholeheartedly. I encourage you to vote for Brian Leonardi as he is an excellent candidate to serve as a full Planning and Zoning commissioner.
