I’m pleased and honored to endorse my friend Jordana Bloom’s re-election to the Legislative Council for District 2. Jordana’s on-going dedication to Newtown and her extensive experience make her an outstanding candidate and deserves your support.

Jordana has been a resident of Newtown for over two decades, during which she has demonstrated a deep love for our community and an unwavering commitment to volunteer work. She actively contributed to various aspects of our town, from her past involvement in school activities, sports, and the band when her children were growing up, to her service on both elected and appointed boards.

Having already served two terms on the Legislative Council in District 2, Jordana possesses the experience that is invaluable for our community.

Jordana is currently serving on the Community Center Commission, where she continues to make a positive impact on our town. Her role as a Library Strategic Project Manager has given her a unique perspective on working with various town agencies to collaborate, promote events, and bring different nonprofit organizations together to benefit our community. Furthermore, her experience as a fundraiser and her understanding of budget processes will be immensely valuable in managing the town’s budget effectively.

In addition to her public service, Jordana’s background as a small business owner for six years showcases her strong work ethic, determination, and ability to handle various challenges effectively.

I wholeheartedly endorse Jordana Bloom’s re-election and I believe she will continue to serve our community with passion and excellence.
