To the Editor:

I would like to recommend Philip Cruz for police commission. He has the necessary experience and leadership that will help our community grow. Phil will work to promote non-partisan approach that will support traffic safety in our town along with making our road safe for everyone. He has the knowledge and understanding that will help pass and promote the best practices of our Police Department well into the future. His leadership and management experience will help ensure that our police department hires the best of the best individuals for our police department, however the most important qualification of Phil is that he is the right person to strengthen the budding relationship between our schools and law-enforcement. That is why every Newtown voter should vote for Phil Cruz for police commission.
