To the Editor:

I am writing to strongly endorse John Fletcher for the Board of Finance.

I’ve known John for 39 years — and we’ve been married for 34. He’s an exceptional husband and father to our four children (and two dogs!). He is also a tremendously hard working and intelligent person who gives 100 percent to everything he does. Whether it involves our family, his work at IBM for 34 years, or even decorating our Main Street house for Halloween (!), John is entirely dedicated to showing up for those around him.

When our town committee was looking for people to run for the BOF, John was the first person to step forward. He serves on the Borough Zoning Board of Appeals now, and he’s looking to contribute more back to the town we all love.

In addition to being a thoughtful and intelligent candidate, John’s educational background and his extensive career experience with budgets and finance are critical assets to the Board of Finance. He is professional, honest, and fair, and we would be lucky to have him on the Board.

I am beyond proud to endorse him for office. Please vote Row A and vote for John Fletcher!
