To the Editor:

It is my pleasure to recommend Phil Cruz in this election for the Police Commission. I have known Phil professionally for several years. His knowledge of the Newtown community and school system is beyond reproach.

Phil’s background as retired army officer, business manager, and educator give him a sound understanding on how to deal with any situations that may arise and to deal with them in a decisive manner. Phil is the right person to help the community with its infrastructure issues and growth as Newtown moves into the future.

Phil’s military service, business experience, and educational background are the exact type of leadership skills that the police commission needs to take Newtown into the future. That is why I am asking Newtown voters to vote for Phil Cruz for police commission.
