To the Editor:

I am writing to endorse Jim Gaston for election to the Board of Finance. I have known Jim for more than ten years and only have wonderful things to say about him and his dedication to the town of Newtown.

Jim served for 14 years as the Chair or Vice Chair of the Board of Finance, four years on the Board of Selectmen with Pat Llodra and Will Rogers, 30 years on the Board of Burgesses of the Borough, and two years on the Charter Review Commission.

Jim has shown that he is a strong supporter in advocating for transparency and accountability and brings a wealth of experience to the table.

Jim and his wife Stephanie have strongly supported education, substance awareness and mental health over the years. I have full confidence that he can continue to do an extraordinary job and humbly ask you to return Jim Gaston back to the Board of Finance. EXPERIENCE MATTERS!
