To the Editor,

I have served as a member of the Board of Managers at Edmond Town Hall since 2017 and am currently seeking re-election. Edmond Town Hall is one of the historical gems of Newtown that our benefactress, Mary Elizabeth Hawley, gifted to the town in 1930.

Many folks know it as the $3.50 movie theater but for the past few years we have been focused on transforming it to be a destination for the arts through music, as well as other art offerings in our theater.

The mission that I support and am committed to is to enrich the community by providing a space where generations of residents in and around Newtown can gather to celebrate and enjoy the arts. Through these efforts, I will continue to help Edmond Town Hall become a self-sustaining and financially viable venue while maintaining the local charm of this beautiful historical building and elevating the arts within our community.
