To the Editor:

Ben Ruben is running for Legislative Council District 3, and I will be easily voting for him on Tuesday, November 7th. Ben is the neighbor you hope for and I am lucky to call him just that.

Before moving to Newtown, Ben opened his doors, literally, to me and my family when we were considering the move. From the very first day, Ben has always lent a helping hand to me and my family.

He brings his endless energy and enthusiasm to everything he does, especially when encouraging Newtown as a wonderful place to live. Local Newtown politics should be about electing great neighbors who will work together to get things done for our town we call home.

I know Ben will always give 100 percent to whatever he does and that is why he will be an asset to the Legislative Council.
