Touting Fellow Democrats

To the Editor;

I am writing in support of all the Democratic Candidates, and the Independent two-year Candidate for Board of Education, Bruce Walczak. All the Democratic candidates are experienced, educated and dedicated. Democratic policies address: School (Blue Ribbon Quality), Streets, Security (Fiscal and Safety) and Smart Development. We have no interest in outside conspiracy theories like Qnon 10/5/2013; 2:20PM Emergency Alert turning COVID vaccinated persons into zombies, or similar situated book banners. Newtown is about local…it’s about Schools, Streets, Security and Smart Development.

I want to give a special shout out to Dan Cruson and Michelle Ku running for 1st Selectman and Board of Selectmen and my DTC suggestion that resolved the issue. My choice because they stood up against the unconstitutional Book Banning.

More specifically, I endorse Chris Gardner for re-election to the Legislative Council. His dedication to the town is amazing. Caretaker to the flagpole, Senior Burgess to the Board of Burgesses, and Legislative Council, 1st District representative. Chris is exactly the person who we want representing the voters and taxpayers of Newtown. He supports our local interests: Schools, Streets, Security (Fiscal and Safety; EMS, Fire and Police) and Smart Development.

Bruce Walczak is well known for his promotion of education and environmental issues. He is running against the Republicans in the Board of Education candidates two-year term positions. There are no Democrats in those positions. If you are an Independent, Unaffiliated Republican or Democrat, pleased vote for Bruce. It is in Newtown’s best interest. He is thoughtful, dedicated and inspiring.

Please also vote for me, Jim Gaston for Board of Finance.

These are not necessarily the Board opinions I currently sit on. Thank you for your kind considerations. Please vote on Tuesday, November 7!

Regards,

Jim Gaston
