To the Editor,

We are writing to support the candidacy of Jordana Bloom for Legislative Council. Jordana has prior successful experience on the Legislative Council, is an active member of the Newtown community and enjoys a wealth of experience that will benefit her in her role as a Legislative Council member.

Jordana is honest, smart, reliable, and giving of herself. She knows intimately the importance of family and community and her work for various charitable causes illustrates her desire to sacrifice for the common good.

Being a member of the Legislative Council requires more than just a desire to serve, which Jordana has in abundance; it requires know-how and an in-depth understanding of the community, its spirit, and its policies.

Jordana’s experience as a small business owner, world traveler (she lived with her family abroad) and her current role at the C.H. Booth Library all contribute to her in-depth understanding of our community.

We encourage a vote for Jordana because we are confident in her abilities and her desire to make Newtown all that it can be.
