To the Editor:

This past Sunday, the rain ceased just in time for The Friends of the C.H. Booth Library’s annual spring donation day.

It was another successful effort thanks to the Friends volunteers and the generous contributions from the Newtown community.

Thanks also to the library staff for allowing us to take over their parking lot! Happily, we are still sorting all the books, games and media that were collected for our big book sale this July 7-11 at Reed Intermediate school in Newtown.
