The public is invited to a special event happening at Newtown Community Center, 8 Simpson Street, on Wednesday, April 26, from 6 to 8 pm.

Join Hearts of Hope of Newtown to celebrate and give thanks to Newtown’s beloved school bus drivers. Everyone is invited to create beautiful painted hearts with a special note of appreciation to all of the bus drivers in town.

School bus drivers ensure the safety and well-being of students while transporting them to and from school. They are the first people to greet many students each morning and the last to say goodbye each afternoon, making a significant impact every day.

Thanks to generous donations by individual and corporate sponsors, this event is free of charge. Additional donations will be gratefully accepted. This is a family-friendly event and all are welcome. All supplies are provided.
