Our hearts are heavy as we all mourn the loss of our beloved older sister and aunt, Erminia “Mickey” Cappiello. Erminia was known for having a big heart and she leaves behind a legacy of warmth, love, and generosity.

Erminia was born on October 18, 1933, in Danbury, Connecticut, daughter to the late Antonio and Grace Freda Cappiello.

She also enjoyed positions she held at the Roterphone Answering Service, Danbury Hospital, and Jim Barberie’s Restaurant, where she was revered by customers for many years. She was loved and respected by all.

Erminia was very dedicated to her family and was known for capturing family memories with photos. She seemed to always have a camera ready to memorialize special moments and important milestones for her large and loving family. In her youth, Erminia was an inspired singer and had been in a multitude of shows in many venues that focused on country western music. Singing country western music was another passion of Erminia’s life.
