Katherine Anne “Kathi” Dahlem, age 72, passed away January 22, 2023, in Danbury, Connecticut. Kathi was born in Seattle on June 2, 1950. She graduated from Seattle University in 1972 and worked in Seattle for many years in the nonprofit and private sectors, focusing on public housing and other community issues. For the past five years, Kathi made her home in Newtown.

Kathi enjoyed traveling, especially on a seaplane to Canada, spending holidays with her relatives in Silverdale, and finding and wrapping the perfect gift. She was always up-to-date on the news.

Kathi is survived by her sisters, Terry (Rich) Tortora, Patty (Dick) Grant, and Peggy (Tom) Krempecki; brother, Bronco Dahlem; nephews, William Dahlem and David Tortora; niece, Laura Grant Conley; and many cousins.

She was preceded in death by her parents, William and Mary Dahlem.

There will be no public memorial.
