Jingle Jam For A Cause: Nominees Sought For ACS Holiday Float
Team Hope would like to hear from readers by midnight Thursday, December 15, with their nominations of local cancer survivors and caregivers.
A fundraiser by Hope on Main Street, Jingle Bell Jam, will then honor those survivors and caregivers on Sunday, December 18. For three hours, Team Hope’s holiday-decorated float will be driven to homes around town. At each stop, participants will carol outside the home of the honoree.
Readers are asked to make a minimum $10 donation.
All funds will go directly to American Cancer Society. Team Hope raises funds so that survivors and their families can benefit from all the services offered by ACS.
Holidays can be a difficult time, say organizers. “We are happy to do this in hope to raise the spirits of our survivors and caregivers giving their all to fight cancer,” they note.
To nominate someone, visit HopeOnMainStreet.com and click on the Donate button. Make a donation and in the comments section provide the name and home address of the nominee.
Donors are also asked to make sure their nominee will be home on Sunday between 4 and 7 pm.
