Anniversary Apple Festival

MONROE — In celebrating the 200th anniversary of St Peter’s Episcopal Church, an apple festival will be held on the historic Monroe Green on Saturday and Sunday, September 11-12, from 10 am to 5 pm both days. The green is opposite the church on Route 111, near the intersection of Fan Hill Road.

There will be crafters, Country Kitchen (with homemade pies and jams), baked goods, Cookie Walk, hardy mum plants, an extensive snack bar, children’s games, Apple Central (featuring fresh apples and related treats), and a raffle for an Amish style quilt and a Weber grill.
