To the Editor:

Are you tired of all the talk, talk, talk, and the empty feeling that these words just aren’t getting anything done? Don’t you wish you had someone in Hartford who was there to protect us, not just for his own advancement? Then you want Captain Tim Gavin for your State Senator.

Don’t you wish that we had someone who will write laws to protect us from rising costs? Tim will fight energy rate cost increases, and insulate us from energy price hikes. He will hold utility companies accountable, so we’re not stuck paying for their mistakes. He will diversify our energy supply, so we’re not at the mercy of power companies. He will expand senior income and child tax credits. He will force Big Pharma to make more low cost generic drugs available.

Don’t you wish we had someone in Hartford who will write laws to protect our children and make sure their education gives them the start they need in life?

Tim will make sure all of our schools are well funded; he knows education is the key to opportunity. He will invest in afterschool, Pre-K, and STEM programming, and expand mental health support. He will strengthen our state’s common sense gun safety laws, so our kids can go to school without fear. He will strengthen protection from online exploitation. He will extend eligibility for debt free community college. He will invest in workforce training and emerging industries, so that there is opportunity for everyone, and our state is economically viable in the future.

Captain Gavin knows that what we want is action, not just empty words. He will bring fresh ideas to Hartford, and he will get things done. Please vote for Captain Tim Gavin for State Senate.
