Danbury Animal Welfare Society Announces Putt Fore Paws In Redding
REDDING — Danbury Animal Welfare Society (DAWS) is proud to announce the return of its Putt Fore Paws charity golf tournament, to be held on Monday, October 24, at Redding Country Club, 109 Lonetown Road.
DAWS is a nonprofit organization dedicated to improving the lives of animals in the community and beyond. It is currently operating out of Newtown while its shelter in Bethel is under renovation.
At Putt Fore Paws, registration and a light brunch will begin at 9:30 am with a shotgun start at 11 am. After an autumn day spent on the 18-hole course, golfers will return at 4 pm for cocktail hour, followed by a dinner reception, raffle, and awards at 5 pm.
Those who are unable to attend the event can still participate in the raffle online.
Sponsorship opportunities are available, as well as foursomes and individual golf tickets. Sign up at dawsgolf2022.givesmart.com.
All proceeds will go towards DAWS’s mission to help animals.
