Fraser Woods Montessori School’s past, present, and future met on May 13, when both the former head of school and the future head of school met with the current interim head of school.

Myriam Woods, who served as head of school from 1990 to 2016, visited with interim Head of School Gina Tryforos and incoming Head of School David Newman for the day. Incoming Head of School David Newman visited on the same day.

As previously reported in The Newtown Bee, Newman will start his tenure at the school on July 1. He is currently the interim head of school at Washington Montessori School and lives with his family in Ridgefield. Newman said this is his 30th year in education, and he has worked in independent schools throughout his career.

According to an announcement from the school, staff and students were excited for the visit.
